What a Couple of Weeks

Well things don't always turn out the way you want. It has been a rough couple of weeks at work and I am emotionally empty :-(

The next couple of months will help me decide if it is time to move on after nearly 14 years........

Thankfully I have tomorrow off, and I will attempt to get all the houseworkie stuff out of the way and then I will have two days to regroup and get myself ready for MONDAY!

I don't think the weather is helping me much I really would like the sun and warmth to return and to top it all off I forgot to get a Lotto ticket for tonights $50M jackpot !!!!

I will post again in a couple of days when my batteries have recharged.

Sunday.....

Wow, I wish every Sunday could be like this but warmer LOL

Put the heater on about 10am and have sat and watched tv and stitched most of the day. I am stitching Picasso's Rooster for my mum for Christmas as she collects chickens and roosters and has been after me to stitch something for her for years. I am doing it over 1 which is something I have never done before and I am actually enjoying it LOL

A chicken is in the crockpot for dinner and just have to put some roast vegies in the oven later. I have just realised that this blog post has a chicken theme to it, I must have been sitting to close to the heater LOL.

Well off to watch the second half of Saints V Crows................GO THE SAINTS!!!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to me, wow 46 years old. I remember when I used to think my parents were old at 40 LOL

I have got a new CD to listen to (thanks Ma and Pa), it is the Great New Zealand Songbook, so far it is great.

Thank you to my friends for your emails, texts and phone calls, without each and everyone of you I wouldn't even worry about my birthday.

WE DID IT!!!

Well done Saints, we beat those nasty cats LOL.

Watching the game didn't do much for my blood pressure or my language though. It was a great game to watch and well done boys. Keep it up for the rest of the season!
