Daylight Saving

Why is it when Daylight Savings finishes the weather automatically goes into free fall.
I got up this morning and it was overcast and cool. Yesterday and last night was fabulous.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like daylight savings.... here in Perth it is just to hot in the summer for it.

Well I have got a few household chores to do this morning then hopefully it is on to crafting for the afternoon.

But the big question of the day is WHAT TO DO FOR DINNER ?????

Pork Crockpot Recipe

Well if you recall Sundays post I said I would post the recipe if it was good.

Well it was yummy and it did me for two nights.

The recipe came from here

http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/search/label/pork.%20lots%20and%20lots%20of%20pork

but I did jig it a bit, I used Pork Loin Chops instead and didn't have any Cranberry juice so just used a jar of Cranberry Sauce and added some water.

I cooked mine for about 7 hours, but I could have got away with 6, the pork was so tender that it fell apart just a little to much.

SAD DAY

Bits and Pieces Acheived Today

Well we are having an Indian Summer, yesterday was about 34 deg and today got to about 39deg.

I finished the first side of my cushion and got about a third of the other side done - gotta love air con and fans LOL

I have Pork Chops with Cranberry Sauce in the crockpot for dinner - if the recipe turns out good I will post it here, if you don't see it posted it was sandwiches for dinner LOL.

I also made some muffins and they are great so here is the recipe:

HONEY BRAN MUFFINS

2 Cups of Wheat Bran
2 Cups of Plain Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Beaten Egg
3/4 Cup Milk
2/3 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup Margarine or Butter Melted

Directions

Set oven to 200 degrees

In a large bowl, stir together the bran, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk, honey and melted margarine (or butter). Add all at once to flour mixture. Stir until just combined, dont beat.

Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin cups. Fill 2/3 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Remove from pans.

* Can be frozen
* This made 26 mini muffins

So Little Time

I have been so busy at work, that I haven't got much of anything done, I have nearly finished the first side of the cushion. I have about 8 rows to go then I can do it all again on the other side.
I will post a picture of the first side when it is finished.

Just a quick update

Well I haven't done any stitching but I have started knitting. I am knitting a heart shaped pillow and well I think the timing is great as I am getting invited to a friends 50th at the end of the month and I this will be part of her present.

Well summer has kind of vanished today, I mean March is supposed to be autumn but shouldn't you get a warning of some kind. Saturday and Sunday were very warm and humid and today is well.........just cooler, cloudy and we could get some showers.

But the good news is that I did get my cards made for my exchange.
